APPLICATION
In Plasters/Renders, the role of additives:
1. HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose): As a water retainer and thickener, HPMC can improve the construction performance of mortar, prevent water from evaporating too quickly, and enhance adhesion and anti-slip properties.
2. HEMC (Hydroxyethyl Methylcellulose): Similar to HPMC, HEMC is also a water retainer and thickener that can improve the fluidity and construction performance of mortar, while improving crack resistance and durability.
3. RDP (Redispersible Polymer Powder): As a polymer modifier, RDP can significantly improve the bonding strength, flexibility and impact resistance of mortar, while improving water resistance and durability.
4. PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol): As a binder and film former, PVA can enhance the adhesion and cohesion of mortar, improve construction performance and surface smoothness.
